Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen


Paula’s judging career began in 1976 and today, she is an all-breed judge. She’s also been a judge for Natural Underground Trials for Ferreting Dogs for over 30 years. She has judged in more than 50 countries. Paula has held several positions in trust in many different clubs and worked for the Finnish Kennel Club’s member magazine Koiramme for five years. At the moment, she is the honorary chair of the Finnish Dog Show Judges’ Society, chair of the Finnish Kennel Club’s Breed Standard Committee, and member of the Show Committee for Lahti International Dog Show for 50 years. She has also been the chair of her local kennel district Salpausselän Kennelpiiri for some twenty years and secretary for nearly 30 years. Paula has also been the chair for the Finnish Fox Terrier Club for several years. Paula worked for five years at the Finnish Kennel Club’s member magazine Koiramme. She taking photos and writing articles.  She has also received many badges of honour, such as the Finnish Kennel Club’s golden badge of honour. Paula is also an honorary member of the Finnish Kennel Club. Paula’s other interests include teddy bears, of which she has collected a great number of from both Finland and still one of the magazine’s regular assistants,
