Kristiina Niemelä

Finland

I am Kristiina Niemelä from the city of Lahti and I work as a Veterinary Clinic Manager. The first Rottweiler came to our family in 1970 and my very own Rottweiler I got in 1986. I started to breed in the beginning of 1990’s and at the same time I started to be an active member in the breed club. In 2015 I became a member of the board of the International Federation of Rottweiler Friends and I am still its member as well as treasurer. I became judge for Rottweilers in 2006 and besides Finland I have judge Rottweiler Specialties in Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Serbia, United Kingdom, Egypt, Russia, Australia and China. At the World Show of International Federation of Rottweiler Friends I have judged twice. Besides dogs and other animals I am interested in gardening and especially in orchids. Also I am interested in different cultures and history of countries and their people. When travelling I often visit different museums and botanical gardens. I would like to thank the Finnish Kennel Club for giving me the honor of judging Rottweilers at the World Dog Show 2025. I wish all the exhibitors success and good luck for the show, lovely meetings with friends and enjoyable moments.
