Auli Haapiainen-Liikanen

Finland

I was born in 1964 and have been judging since 1999 and nowadays judge breeds of FCI groups 2, 4, 5 and 6. I am also judge for working trials of some hunting breeds. I have judged besides Finland in Australia, Great Britain, USA, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Estonia. Breeds that I first bred were Great Dane and Pinscher and I bred these breeds 30 years with prefix Dogiwogin. I’ve been awarded with the Finnish Kennel Club’s Vuolasvirta prize, the highest merit of the Finnish Kennel Club, for merited breeding of Yellow and Brindle Great Dane. First litters of Thai Ridgeback and Norwegian (Dunker) Hound are bred by my kennel. We have also hunting breeds at home as we are interested in hunting – Finnish Hounds, Norwegian Elkhounds and Norwegian (Dunker) Hounds. In these breeds we have bred or owned both show champions and working champions.
