My life with dogs, Boxers, started when I was only 11 years old. Then a solid brindle Boxer female joined our family. In a short time she became my best friend and, because of her excellent working potential, we started trainings organized by our Kennel Club. And that’s how it all started. We took part in a few shows and she produced one litter in 1967. In 1974, already on my own, I bought my second Boxer. That time it was very promising show quality puppy, the flashy red male Remi-Ivo, from a well known those days polish kennel Hara. He developed to an excellent show dog and even more successful stud. My own kennel Nostrum was founded in 1983 on his extraordinary daughter, top show Boxer of her time Karolina Olga Greyxer. All today’s Nostrum Boxers are descendants of Karolina in direct female blood line.
I never owned more than 6-8 dogs same time and although my breeding activity was not very intensive, I had luck to breed over 60 Champions, 15 Annual Club Winners of different countries and over 30 International Champions FCI.
My judges education started in the late 70s and in 1985 I became authorized judge for my first breed, of course Boxer. Since then I judged boxers in most European countries including United Kingdom and Ireland and such events like World Dog Show, 3 times World Boxer Show Atibox and many other championship boxer shows.
After completing continued education, I became also authorized FCI judge for all breeds from FCI groups 2 and 8 and since then I judged them in many European countries.
For 26 years, until 2017, I was a member of the Polish Kennel Club General Committee. For the term 2017-2021 I became elected as a member of the Polish Kennel Club Disciplinary Board.
In the years 1987- 2005 I served as well as the Polish Boxer Club v-ce President for breeding affairs and years 2005 – 2011 had the honour to be its President.
Judging Boxers, a breed I have dedicated my entire life to, always stirs up my special emotions, but getting possibility to judge my beloved breed at such special event as speciality Boxer show accompanying the World Dog Show is going to be extremely exciting. So I want to thank warmly the organizing committee for offering me that opportunity. Judging many times in Finland before, I am absolutely sure that I will meet perfect organisation and great hospitality, lovely atmosphere and many high quality Boxers. Just cannot wait.
