Germany

I completed my judging education with the Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter e.V. for 17 breeds and received my judging license in 2018. I began judging in 2019 at the Europasieger Show. I am now licensed to judge 19 breeds from Group 9.  I got my first dog, a Newfoundland bitch, in 1983. I grew up surrounded by dogs—we had five dogs from three generations. I took a short break from dog activities during my medical studies and became a gynecologist and obstetrician. I worked in a hospital from 2003 to 2009 and have had my own practice near Hamburg, Germany, since 2009. After getting married in 2004, my husband and I decided to get a Pug— a breed I truly love. I am active as an exhibitor, breeder, breeding steward, and breed judge. I started showing dogs as a junior handler with Newfoundlands and later continued with my Pugs. In these challenging times, I hope we can continue to breed and preserve the Pug with its special characteristics. We recently had our 8th litter of Pugs in our home.
I’m very much looking forward to seeing your high-quality Pugs this August in Helsinki.
